    Description

    Up for auction is a set of 4 MOSER LADY HAMILTON crystal cut to clear wine glasses.   All are signed/etched "Moser" on the bottom.  There are two rose pink in color and two purple.  The purple are no longer available on the website.  Right now, these glasses sell for 5.00 each.  The glasses are 7 1/4 inches tall and approx 3 1/4 inches wide at top.
    A goblet of elegant shape – with thick sides at the bottom, thinning significantly towards the top – is a unique product made only at the Moser glassworks. The proportions of the wine glass will stand in an underlaid color with one of the typical Moser shades. The exclusivity of the whole collection is enhanced by the technically demanding papal cut.

    TECHNIQUE OF THE PAPAL CUT:
    Manufacture of any item from this collection is a task for true masters of glassworking. In the beginning, there is a goblet with thick sides that gradually thin towards the upper edge. Moser glassworks is the only one to be able to produce these goblets using a method called “abrupt force”, which then allows them to perform a rounded cut with wide edges, which optically light up the glass and make it more scintillating. On the outer side of the glasses, precisely cut facets are modelled, crowned by elegant curves beneath the edge. This is called a “papal cut” and it requires perfectly rendering the proportions, depth and width of the surfaces. In mastering this technique, the Moser glassworkers won themselves a reputation around the world.
    Priority mail shipping cost will be actual cost to all United States destinations.  International shipping is handled by eBay Global Shipping Program at the cost quoted to you by them.  Normal ship time is one day after receiving cleared payment.
