    African Mask -BOBO (Mali) Authentic sun mask with owl depiction and wooden teeth. The Bobo often combined human or natural elements like the sun with animals in hybrid masks. The diagonal light/dark triangles represent the separation between light and darkness, good and evil. This is an authentic mask not a duplicate. Signs of wear, patina and light smoke smell are on it. My parents brought it back when they were stationed in Burkina Faso at the embassy there.
