    Description

Chokwe Man's mask from the Congo. The mask is worn in a traditional dance and celebration of the coming of age. They are made of
    Mongongo
wood and have the mark of the tribe on the forehead.  I do not know which tribe made this.  It measures a large 15" X 12" and with the stand it is about 19" tall. This is a Beautiful statement piece with woven beaded hair.  In Good Vintage Condition, has some wear. A couple of the wood beads are split.   It has some age to it as well.
