    Description

    Offered for sale is a stunning antique blue and white porcelain platter manufactured by Meissen of Germany during the early 1900s.  The platter is the Blue Flowers pattern and it features hand-painted floral sprays with insects and it is accented in gold trim.  The platter has a scalloped rim and the back is marked with the Meissen crossed swords trademark and impressed in the back are the numbers 72 and 4.  The platter measures 13 3/4" by 10" in diameter, and this is a first quality piece!
    The overall condition of the platter is excellent.  There are no chips, cracks or repairs to note, and the surface is clean with little to no wear to note.  The base rim has standard light wear and the images are crisp.
