Antique Mid 18thC Meissen Porcelain Floral Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse German

For sale is
a really nice cup - possibly for hot chocolate or broth with saucer made by Meissen in about 1750 . The cup is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement in the woodcut style on the front with two smaller and two very small flowers filling in the sides and back. Simple handle highlighted with a nice gild design. Gold trim to the rim. The saucer is hand painted with a large floral arrangement in the Deutsche Blumen style with some smaller flowers filling in the rest of the area. Gold trim to the rim. The two pieces are painted in a different style which met around this time period. While it is possible they belong together I highly doubt that and it is probably a decent marriage. Both pieces are marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark with the cup also having a puce XII. in puce probably a painter's mark. They are both in excellent condition with only very minor wear. The cup is 2.375 inch tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.25 inches.
