I purchased this mask for 0 back in the late 1980's to early 1990's it was placed on display in our Mask Collection until now. It is not from a smoke free home.
Several Cowrie shells have small parts broke or worn off.  some of the stitching on material is coming loose showing it's age. The mask displays very nice. I attached a hanger for display purposes. The head cover material that would be used when worn is missing usually some type of burlap looking raffia material.
