    Dan tribe carved wooden mask
    * Dan tribe is of Liberia and the Ivory Coast
    * 11" high x 7 3/4" wide x 4 3/8" deep
    * Black with encrusted patina
    * Scarification beauty marks around the eye slits
    and at the middle of the forehead.
    * Carved cowery shells are around the lower part
    of the face.
    * 5 Silver teeth - right one missing
    * Holes around the periphery for attachment
    * Chiseled appearance under nose.
    * Some small repair evident at tip of nose.
