EARLY 1900s WINDSOR CANADA SLOT MACHINE TOKEN - LA CAILLE CO. - THE CAILLE CO.

Description

This early 1900s token is from the Windsor, Canada, facility of The Caille Company, a major manufacturer of coin-operated machines including slot machines from 1910 to the late 1930s.  The obverse has the French name of the company -
LA COMPANIE CAILLE
.  The reverse has a monogram taken from the English company name -
TCCo.
The diameter i
s approximately 21.5 mm (nearly 7/8"), and the composition is a nickel alloy ('white metal').
This item is in very fine condition, with fairly light wear, signs of handling, toning, and soiling, and it remains bright with a good toned silver color.
