FINE VINTAGE AFRICAN CARVED WOOD FEMALE FACE MASK-NOW ONLY !!

For sale is an unusual vintage African female face mask.  We do not know the region or style of this mask.  We bought it several years ago from the estate of a collector of these masks.  He died in the late 1980s.  Our understanding is that is from early mid  20th century.  But, we can only verify that it is at least 40 years old.  If anyone has any information about this mask, it would be greatly appreciated.
The mask is well carved.  There some faded paint/stain on the top know of the hair.  Only one mild crack at the top back.  It is 15 inches high from the chin to the top of the hair.  6 inches wide.  The face opening is 10 inches high.  The overall finish an patina is excellent.
