Description
A beautifully carved example of Baule mask making, with very emphatic scarification in relief, and an elaborate hairdo. It measures 11 1/4" long by 6 1/4" wide, made in a medium dense hardwood, and, judging from the surface, probably created in the mid-20th century. There is a chip missing at the top of the flange, but no other damage.
Re-listed at a low price as we reduce stock to allow a move to a new, smaller shop.

Shipping
Shipping charges are for shipping only.  There is no handling fee. In most cases USPS will be chosen.
