We recently purchased a neat collector's accumulation of personally signed (by the players) postcards and postcard-size photos. In the main, these picture minor-leaguers - many with major league experience.
Card size is approximately 3-1/2" by 5-3/8". It will fit well in standard 4-pocket sheets designed specifically for postcards and similar sized photographs.
Joe Strain was drafted by the San Francisco Giants after his career at the University of Northern Colorado ... advanced quickly from Rookie to A to Triple-A and the majors in three years ... hit .250 for three seasons (2 with Giants, one with Cubs) ... hit .307 in 7 minor-league years ... Photo postcard pictures Joe with the PCL Phoenix Giants (1978 or '79).
Condition:
Many of these cards have at least small condition issues and some have serious ones. All have notations on the reverse. High resolution scans are provided (front and back), so please check them for card condition.
