We examine our pieces thoroughly and do our best to photograph each section of a mask so a buyer/collector can have a full understanding of what they’re purchasing without any surprises. ABOUT MASK
The Lele people are a subgroup of the Kuba ethnic group of the Democratic Republic of Congo, inhabiting the Kasai River basin. They dance masked on many occasions, including festivals celebrating the mythical founding of the people and funerals of important individuals. Lele masks have affinities with those of the Kuba people more generally, but they have a distinctive flattened face. Cowrie shells and glass beads were valuable trade goods and their use denotes wealth and status.
IMPERFECTIONS
Please note these are traditional/old masks. Imperfections are to be expected such as dings, broken cowrie shells and minor cracks. We do our best to showcase the mask using as many photos as possible. Mask is in excellent condition.

This mask comes with a stand so there is no worry about searching for a stand.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
We require 3-5 days to process and package each order carefully. All shipping will be made via UPS or FedEx dependent on cost. Our return policy is strictly 30 days from the time you receive your order and confirmed as delivered. All returns are paid by the customer regardless of reason/cause. All returns must be in their original shipped condition.
