Kuba Mask - Kuba Tribe - Democratic Republic of the Congo

Description

This is a dance mask from the Kuba tribe of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Condition is used. It is carved of wood with fiber and cowrie shells attached. Overall dimensions are approximately 15" x11" x 10". Nicely carved and painted - red, white and brown. I am reducing my collection of African masks and will have additional listings over the coming weeks.
