This listing is for a lovely Moser cranberry Art Glass dresser box with Mary Gregory enameled decoration and ormolu mounts. This a larger size box with rich cranberry coloration and white hand painted Mary Gregory decoration featuring a young girl in Period costume standing in a garden and holding a swag of flowers.
The box is mounted with gilt brass rims on the top and bottom section with rings mounted on each side and elaborate tall feet. The hinge is tight and the box opens and closes correctly.
Measures 4 3/4" high, interior measures 5 1/2" and overall width is 6 1/2" (including side rings). Weighs 1.14 pounds.
This nice box is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws to the glass or the enameling. The metal bands reflect natural aged patina.
