The Ngere or Gere are part of the We tribe who live in the forests on the Western frontier of the Ivory Coast. This mask is a great example with typical features: triangular nose, tubular eyes, open mouth, domed forehead, etc. and the facial expression is right on. Good age with wear; some metal teeth missing, crack/ missing animal skin, old nails( that’s good), encrustation. This particular kind of Ngere mask has always been popular with collectors and rarely appears on Ebay anymore. Consider mounting this on a stand! Either way, this dramatic mask displays very well.

RETURNS!

I offer an item with a return ( see if there is a return policy for that item), buyer pays return shipping with insurance and item must be packaged similarly ( preferably with the same materials) to avoid damage. Refund is given as money back; the original shipping price is not refunded.
