    A Quality Hand Crafted Bwami Society Mask Carved from a Native African Wood Log

    12 inches (18.2 cm) high x 8 1/2 inches (31.3 cm) wide x 3 1/2 inches (7.4 cm) deep
    Condition; Very Good: A small chip seems to have been carefully reglued to this item at 11:00 on the right side border. The item has a complex clay remnant patina on the front. The back shows crude, but expert, hand chisel marks.
    Description: This item from an East San Francisco Bay Area estate was made in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Other ethnographic items mostly dating from 1965 – 1985 were also found in this estate. There was no collection history.
