    Description

    These two masks are definitely vintage, most likely purchased in the 1960s. However, I do not know if they are meant to be African, Asian, or something else. The owners lived in SE Asia during that time period, but they just as well could have been bought at a department store in Northern Virginia. Each is about one pound and 11.5" long. The wood is fine grained, possibly teak or another tropical hardwood. Interesting design, but they cannot help but remind me of Marge Simpson!
