The original Walk Assist was designed in 2018 to help my father walk and gain back his independence. He looked forward to walking again and doing so without the help of others. At the time, he had to depend on someone to help move him around the house, even with a walker, but the Walk Assist changes all of that and proved to be so much more than several pipes fitted together. The feeling of independence my father experienced and the smile on his face made this unit invaluable. With encouragement from the home health nurses and therapist, we decided to offer independence as my father experienced it, for an affordable price with easy assembly.
