Rare Hand Carved Smiling Wooden Mask W/ Hair

Rare Hand Carved Smiling Wooden Mask W/ Hair. Condition is "Used". I bought this from estate sale. Its smiling face drew me in. No one at the estate sale knew anything about it, so I am assuming it is African in origin because there is a similar looking mask here on eBay. On that listing they claim the hair is Ox hair, but I honestly don't know what Ox hair is suppose to look or feel like, therefore I am not going to claim it is Ox hair. I've done my best to take close-ups of the hair for those who can tell the difference. The texture of the hair looks and feels brittle, but it does bend a little bit. My first impression of the hair is that it is made of some type of plant material because I can see what appears to be bark material interwoven into the hair. I tried to get a close up of that in my second hair photo.
