    Description

    This is a Kukungu mask from the Suku tribe of the Congo. Condition is used.
    A large and unique mask with a bulbous nose, fat cheeks, and rectangular mouth with carved teeth. Size is approximately 23" x 11" x 7". It is worn by the leader of the initiation of the boys during their isolation period. I am reducing my collection of African masks and will have additional listings over the coming weeks.
