    Description

Selling what is left of the relics recovered from a New York Museum fire. Items include African; Asian and Pre-Columbian. Most of the items have sustained some form of damage be in broken and/or scorned stone (which may be able to be cleaned by better minds) or burned wood, but each still holds tremendous rarity and beauty and being sold at significantly discounted prices.
This auction is for a old African Chokwe pipe missing depicting a woman cupping her breasts. Unfortunately it’s bottom portion which before the fire was a gourd, is missing. The top also sustained fire damage but both ends likely could be replaced as the main body is 100% in tact. A rare and unique wood piece and most unlikely item to survive a fire.
