    Description

    Vintage African Hand Carved Wood Mask
    This mask was purchased in rural South Africa in 2004. I'm not certain of the region of origin or when it was created.
    I believe it was made as a wall decoration and has been around for some time based on the number of hanging holes on the rear top edge. Those were all there when the mask was purchased in the early 2000's.
    It's a really, nice iconic figure that measures approximately 11" tall and 10" wide.
