Vintage Kuba/Bakuba Ngady a'Mwaash/Mweel Congo African Wood Mask
The mask shows signs of its age and travels. The paint and kaolin have a few chips and wear in a few places, mainly the forehead (see closeup photos). However, the mask is in overall good condition for its age, with no cracks or major chips in the wood. The original beadwork and raffia cloth/cowrie shell headdress are intact. No broken shells or tears in the cloth
